Susan Jonas started this foundation after pancreatic cancer took her mother in 2015. We raise money through community events, Connie’s artwork and donations, and put it toward research, new treatment options and families affected by the disease.

Why we exist
Her daughter Susan founded the foundation to raise money for research and to make sure other families have the support they deserve. Pancreatic cancer is the third-leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., and only 13% of patients are alive five years after diagnosis. Our goal is to double that number.
What we do
Our gift helped Norton Audubon Hospital become the first in Kentucky to offer EUS-RFA, a new treatment option.
Our impactA golf outing in September and the Sip & Swirl, a wine and bourbon tasting, in October bring supporters together each year.
EventsConnie was a Zentangle artist and calligrapher. Her work, printed on cards, tiles, canvases and more, supports our mission.

Recent impact
With donor support, Norton Audubon now offers endoscopic ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation, a minimally invasive treatment that targets pancreatic tumors without major surgery. Our gift went toward the $75,000 needed to launch the program.
